Even though home computers are used for mostly internet surfing and office
applications, we don't offer you old technology in order to lower our prices. We balance our prices and technology.
When Companion Computers started, we were more concerned with high-end gaming
computers. However, our expertise with high-performance parts, along with our
desire to give our customers the best technology available has seeped into
everything we do.
Our aim in our computers is to provide you, the customer, with the latest
technology available. As a customer of ours, you can rest assured that you
recieved the latest technology available at the time of purchase.
Our computers are custom-built. This means that we don't have to resort to
pushing old technology to clean our shelves. We can offer you new technology as
it comes out.

Dual-core processors
We don't offer anything less than a dual-core processor in any of our computer
systems. Dual-core processors allow you to do more things at once than ever
before. Surfing the internet, typing up a paper, and listening to your favorite
music all will perform better with a dual-core processor at your computer's
heart.

DDR2-800 RAM
The memory we provide with our systems, even our cheaper systems, is the fastest
available for general computers. DDR2 provides a performance advantage over
older DDR RAM. Most manufacturers will provide you with DDR2-667 RAM, which is
considerably slower. This RAM will help your computer run faster out of the box.
